You could live within walking distance to museums, the ARTWalk, and all at inexpensive rents. The rents are comparable to Park Ave, and this area is closer to Downtown. South Wedge has a grittier reputation than the others, but has recently been rehabilitated into a great neighborhood for young people. Rents are cheaper there, with a typical one bedroom rent running at about $500 a month, studios at $400. Great places in the area include Lux Lounge, Godiva's, India House, and Highland Park.
